Julie Sullivan Currently I am retired and have 125 roses in my yard and love the David Austin,. Harkness, and Meilland roses. I prefer buying roses that are "own root", as they seem to last longer and have less problems with diseases. I love to visit the Heirloom Rose gardens at St. Paul, Oregon and most of my "own root" roses have come from them.
