Lowell & Kathy Braaten We started building our rose garden in 1992. Most all of our roses were ordered through mail order from Fred Edmunds, Jackson Perkins, and others. We found that ordering mail order plants ensured that we received a top notch #1 grade plant with great roots. Our garden steadily grew to about 100 roses and we still have about that many. We both love the garden and share equally in all of the associated work. "Beats mowing grass". Our garden contains several arbors and I think the climbers are my favorite. Kathy definitely enjoys the long stemmed tea roses to make her arrangements. We love to share bouquets during the summer with family and friends.
